Nice find, interesting redesign of the site.

I wonder if this will mean more people using it?

Just noticed another aspect to this (should have read more carefully the first time)

InfoSpace is also using Google Adwords on Metacrawler, press release here [businesswire.com]

I wonder if they do well, if InfoSpace will ship the Adwords syndication across their network? That would be another Overture partner left in the dust...

edited to fix engine name - doh!

Maybe this means that WebCrawler will attract more users with a better demographic, and that the WordTracker database might therefore benefit.

PS: That was too much to hope for. As I try some test searches, it looks like what they're doing is mixing up some other results and dropping the top Overture results into these... sometimes all Overture, sometimes interspersing them with Fast, etc... and not labelling the Overture as paid results. Are they doing anything more that circumventing FTC?

I'm using a 15 in flat panel set at 600X800 yet I must scroll horizontally to read all the descriptions. I'm sure they could find a fix for that here or on my site. It is interesting to watch the different search engines that start to show unrelated listings first. I guess those are paid for by someone who doesn't care where their $ goes.

Whoops... we've all said WebCrawler even though we've meant MetaCrawler.
