Netscape excluding regional urls

no .regional suffixes listed in the serps and some .com from uk

Has anyone else noticed search.netscape not showing regional suffixes in the serps? I've done about half a dozen searches on some competitive and non competitive searches.

I'm also finding one of my .com sites hosted in the UK not showing after having had some good positions. Could they be doing this by the hosting country?

I know Netscape is hardly worth bothering with but would like to know?

I hardly ever visit the netscape search, but from what I could tell, it defaults to 'google'.

Which search are you using from them that does the regional domains oddly?

As they dont' have their own, they utilize a partner's services (Google, et. all pay to have their services showcased on netscape.com).

Without excessive testing I'd say that Netscape filters Google results for hosting country. Netscape.de has in the default search (german pages) exclusively pages hosted in Germany, regardless of language and content.

AOL.de does the same. It's very annoying and makes no sense at all.

I'm using [search.netscape.com...] from the UK.

and as far as I can tell, only sites from the USA appear in the serps.

If this is the case then it's completely pointless for anyone outside the USA?
