It is also a convenient way to find out how well your website is ranked on the various search engines because it gives the postions of the sites.
And if you put "link:" in front of a url it shows the backwards links for that site as they appear on the various search engines.

Ya, it's an ad, but it is a pretty good meta search engine. Good meta's are in short supply these days. Most of the old gaurd has turned into junk any more.

best meta search i have seen. Pulls results only from the high quality or relevance based engines. As brett says allmost all other meta searches have comitted suicide by incoporating PPC results the last year or so in order to cash in.

I'm impressed too! Main directory results from the ODP. Now why is it that the site is PR0? If you do a "contain the term" search, there are 25,100 sites referencing that domain, where are the inbounds?

Yes, great tool. I've added it to my start page.

The results are more dependable if you set the timeout to 10 seconds instead of 5. Good that they give us the choice. This has been one of the problems with Ixquick, and in fact with most of the metas I've used... they'd time out before all the results were in.

Interesting how, like many of us here, they're giving WiseNut a vote of confidence, anticipating an eventual update.
