New Search Engine perplexity.ai

Ahead of Bing [webmasterworld.com], there a new search engine which is using OpenAI API.

I notice links to sites, and citations to links, as well as SERPs.
It seems fast, but i've yet to establish the accuracy.

There will be a true test of resources, soon, and I wonder how long it'll remain up and running before it gets swamped.

My goodness! What a sluggish, slow displaying site! SERIOUS. Dang thing runs like molasses. However, the results (minuscule as they were for a demo) were accurate.

It uses OpenAI Codex to translate natural language into SQL. They call it BirdSQL which is ironic since the one thing it seems fast at is summarising the Twitter use of @twitter names.

Must be privacy-centric....
