What are your go-to alternatives to the evil Google besides the obvious; Bing, Yahoo!, Reddit, DDG, etc ?

Asking because I have a new client who got ripped off by spending well into 4 figures for G ads which were most bot clicks. He’s tried social with poor results (high bounce low avg session times) so looking for something that actuallly works.

TIA.

Also startpage and ixquick (two from same stables).

What about apple? Its bot browses my sites from time to time, as do seznam and exabot.

How does ecosia collect data? Is it a bot or a meta? If bot, what IPs? Can't find any info on it.

Mojeek. Plans to expand the index to 8 billion this year, with its own index. Many of the other alts are using Bing, but good alternatives nonetheless.

Thanks!

Probably not relevant for getting customes but I just came across the site below, which claims hundreds of bots based on "discord". Some are for on-site searches.
