New Creative Commons Search Engine

Creative Commons has taken its search out of beta and is now publicly searchable of the commons' archive of free content available in the public domain.

The old search is still available and is not limited to images but has a smaller range of sources.

its not clear to me whether those listed are the only providers or just the biggest.

The "about" link shows the list of sources, and the other data comes from commoncrawl.org [commoncrawl.org...]
