So the question still remains... HOW OFTEN DO THEY UPDATE??? I'd write back and ask again, but they seem to be acting helpful, and I don't want to jinx it!

I was under the impression the Looksmart link was live back to looksmart on Excite?

Sure that wasn't a form mail you got back? Excite usually does anymore.

Well, my listing showed up on Looksmart a few weeks before it finally showed up on Excite... maybe the "known problem" with their system had something to do with their live connection to Looksmart's DB?

I'm assuming it was a form letter, but that means they get enough complaints about their Looksmart updates that they had to write a form letter for it...

And my site DID appear after the next update, so I wasn't too bothered by it.
