kingtut1,

I say put your energy into more productive things - the other Engines :)

I don't know if there are any Industries that receive NL traffic, certainly none that I have worked within.

Northern light seems to work best with academic or information type links. If an industry or area also has libraries, - universities, corporate info etc, they also tend to like NL. For the more serious researcher.

At one point I was slamming NL with thousands of listings a day. Most of them were top 5. I was getting about 40 hits a day. It definitely is a low priority. But hey, they may be the only free and spidering search engine left in the near future.

I like NL. However, notwithstanding the fact that I have number one listings for several keyphrases, I received only two referrals from it last month.Apparently most surfers don't like NL as well as I.

I get a few referrals a week from Northern Light...though I search with it a lot myself...a great SE for doing research...so I'd recommend anyone with an information rich site to make sure they get on it
