Hundreds of referrals from Surfwax.com

Never heard of em' till they topped the referral chart

One site that hasn't been promoted much save a listing on ODP just pulled in 50%+ of monthly hits from surfwax.com Looks like some kind of meta search that pulls results alphabetically. Anyone else seeing this, or just a fluke?

I just checked my October logs. Surfwax was nowhere to be found.

My guess is that's a fluke. I've never heard of them, perhaps once in the fora, but that'd be it.

Metas aren't exactly engines...unless they add value to the search, they are pretty worthless, imho. Perhaps somebody really liked your subject matter that ran the engine :)
