Looking for SE where multiple sites can be easily targeted

I know how to do this the hard way on Google, Live, etc.

I currently search multiple sites by making lists and pasting them in like:

nuclear war site:http://abcnews.go.com/ OR site:http://www.cbsnews.com/ OR site:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/

This however is slow and clumsy, especially when dealing with large lists of sites. I was hoping there might be a SE or app that would allow me to be able to drag and drop sites, compose permanent lists, with one click access, etc. An app for Google or Live or Yahoo! would probably be best, since my searches are news oriented and I would like access to recently posted pages.

Anybody know of such animals?

Make a Google Custom Search [google.com] or use Yahoo Pipes [pipes.yahoo.com].
