Alexa giving out my personal info

I too have the same problem and I've only just noticed it. It lists my home addy and phone number which I've asked for delisting but who knows how long it will take. Also they say I have employees and an annual turnover, it's news to me as I'm a private individual who euns a site for a late actor friend of mine. I am appalled that Alexa do not have a phone number to contact a human over it and I have to rely on email. I'm disgusted by the actions of whois, I diod not give them permission to publicly show my home address, I am not terrified of fraud, what else can I do to remove it quickly? Are there any bodies over here in the UK that can help, this is really not on, thanks.

The default whois will display your registration details.

It's up to you to arrange anonymity with your registrar.

Alexa is simply repeating what is already public knowledge - same as they do for every other non-anon site. Believe me, Alexa never had an original thought, and all their info is automated.

Go check your registrar's terms. Mine does it for free, some charge a fee.

They don't though that's the ting, they say it's not them and I'm going round in circles. Seems like all I can do is pull all my sites and go to a more rputable comany.
