Came across this search engine, www.searchsays.com. Looks like its positioning itself as the "Yelp.com" of search. Here's the mission statement:

Search engines are getting cluttered by SPAMMY websites and often provide an over-abundance of irrelevant information to the USER. We are building a word-of-mouth SEARCH ENGINE that is bringing the power of internet searching back into the hands of the people. SearchSays utilizes the power of online community to make search results more relevant, more diverse - and more "YOU". We're going to RECLAIM the web one word at a time.

Basically, they allow users to rank and review sites. Decent idea, thoughts?

I'd be interested in seeing how they think they're going to limit the ranking and review from "users" so as to exclude spammers and bots.

If this "word of mouth" SEARCH ENGINE gets any traction, I'd expect it to be overcome by spam faster than you can say "black hat."
