Excite has confirmed it is considering taking legal action against New Labour over the political party's new logo.

Hahaha!

Reminds me of local scandal, Montréal city payed 250.000$ (CND) a prestigious marketing agency to make a new logo. It came up as the same shape and color as a .99 $ cake mold!

See the most expensive cake mold at middle-bottom here.

This has to be a publicity thing. I have a company logo that is vaguely similar to the so-called stick figures, and have become rather sensitized to the use of these figures. There are hundreds of stick figure logos in use in the market right now, some of which are probably closer to Excite's than the one in the article. I think the US Census had one, and a new drug for prostates or something. Excite had better stock up on legal help!

I heard someone say, New Labour's new logo is like a man trying to hold down a seagull by the wings.

Ahem! - to those that don't know - it's New Labour, not Labour. They spend a fortune trying to tell us at the last election. So there! ;)
