Wow, take a look at Webcrawler. There seems to be new data coming back in results.
Is your site in there?

Yeah I noticed that. Webcrawler seems to have finally updated it's index after all this time.
All pages that I have in Excite have suddenly appeared in Webcrawler.
May have to wait another year for the next index. :)

Actually I get more traffic from WebCrawler than I do Northern Light.

How do you submit a site to Web Crawler? I only found links to Excite's pay-to-submit services.

Hi glauber, welcome to the board.

It is the same page with the WC logo on it that Excite uses:

[webcrawler.com...]

And Neil, the bearer of bad news (I won't shoot the messenger). My all star 400 referrals a day page for 1.5 years -- yes, that one everybody got sick of hearing about when Webcrawler would come up -- is finally *gone* from Webcrawler. What a page. Given that time frame, I've never had anything like it. Formerly #4 for Since October 1999 under "mp3". I should hold a Wake ;) What a run. Hopefully it may make a comeback like it did last july when it disappeared for two weeks and then reappeared.

Thanks, Brett. In this case i've already submitted my site there...

It's been interesting (and i'm not sure if good or bad) to see the number of search engines shrink drastically in the past year or so, so now we have maybe 3 or 4 engines out there with so many diffferent fronts. Well, at least it makes my life easier (less places to watch), but it's also less interesting.
