Mooter = Slow or Mooter = No More?

Just checked out Mooter after a few months, and it seems that the results don't load anymore.

I waited for about at least 5 - 10 minutes and it was still loading. Finally I had to give up as I had 'better' things to do other than wait.

So I'm guessing it's the end for this Australian Search Engine or is it just me?

I'm getting the same, they may just be having a server problem and it's a public holiday in Oz today, and I know that they're not exactly a large company. Looks like traffic isn't kind to their Beta server...

End for Aussie search engines? Naaah, give Sensis a little while and then we'll have a verdict.

Its been very erratic for awhile now. But it still does work sometimes.

Speaking of Australian Search Engines (sorry to go a bit off-topic here), I see a similarity between the Anzwers and the Inktomi logo (maybe because both are owned by Yahoo!)

Is this new or has it been the same since ages?

I'm getting html loading up fine but not their search servlets, so must just be down.

Im pretty sure the logo has been more or less the same since I started using anzwers.com.au which was around 1998.

<added>They were powered inktomi, then they switched to yahoo Australian and NZ results in October 2001.</added>
