Price of Inclusion?

Hi all,

For a relatively new engine that currently accepts free submissions, if it were to start taking payment for a guarenteed quick inclusion, but still have the option of a longer not guaranteed submission. Do you think that webmasters would pay to be included? And if so what would be a reasonable price?

It really depends on how much use the engine gets. If you are offering static links in a directory that will pass on some PageRank, then that will increase the appeal of paying. My advice would be to make it cheap and cheerful; $20 or under.
