the results are getting better now...this might be a engine to watch..

I just found out when they last updated their database:
[yuntis.ecsl.cs.sunysb.edu...]
(Data and Engine of February 2003).
...for more statistics on Yuntis' database, have a look at:
[yuntis-wrld.ecsl.cs.sunysb.edu...]
a pretty cool engine in my opinion. Have to just wait for it to become 'commercial'.

When Yuntis does become commercial, which domain are they gonna use?
As yuntis.com appears to be registered and according to whois, it doesn't belong to the university, they have several options:
Theres no way at all they are going with the long university sub domain to be in commercial land.

That's funny that you mentioned checking whois.. I did the same thing. Guess I was hoping the university owned it as well. Perhaps they can use .net that's not taken. Whatever the case, if they do decide to go commercial with this, I agree that it will definately be an engine to keep your eye on. The information for each listings they have are pretty interesting.
One thing though.. when it does become widely available if it does.. they'll definately have to work on explaining everything in lamens terms so average Joe Surfer can understand using Yuntis to it's full potential.
A couple of interesting pages I found:
- The Yuntis project status: [ecsl.cs.sunysb.edu...]
- Inserting links in your favorites to use.. works quite well: [yuntis-wrld.ecsl.cs.sunysb.edu...]
