Looksmart Gone from MSN

Inktomi may be shuffling, but they're shuffling some fairly irrelevant results. Looksmart listings were at least vetted by a human editor. Having the directory results back is an improvement for most of the terms I watch (and not only for my sites :)

I wonder if MSN's next move will be to provide a way to submit to their directory. And hopefully they charge less then L$.

yah, that's huge. Like INK or not, at least it's another algo based search engine other than Google to get listed in.

I hope that MSN will actually differentiate between their PPC advertising service; their PFI Algorithmic index; and their PFI directory. Looksmart tried to do/ be all these separate aspects simultaneously - not long after it told the world it was a 'once off payment' directory........ Confused? Absolutely!

Look$mart listings are back on Msn here in China tooŁĄ That's really bad, for both users and webmasters.

Well they seem to be back again. But this time they are pulling the results from different sources, one time its looksmart then after two more searches it Inktomi.
Looking from Europe here. Although its too bad that every monday they seem to switch to looksmart, whereas monday seems to be the top sales day throughout the week for me.

Yah, they seem to be back again - ink that is. Hopefully, they will stick around for a while this time around.
