...and I haven't got any.
This is a new 'feature' on their site information page AIUI - I dont' recall it being there before.
It says my site has 'many pop-ups', 28 to be exact. I haven't got any at all, but it sure might put people off coming to my site.
Anyone an idea what the heck Alexa is going on about? Do they have contact details...I can't see them.

I wonder how many people actually care about alexa? Mostly those who dl the toolbar are SEOs/webmasters etc.

I agree, I'm not sure it matters. For the record though, Alexa says that our site has pop-ups on 16% of our pages. In reality, there isn't a pop-up on the entire site. Also, as I posted in another thread, all our reviews are now missing as well.

Alexa has a very wierd defination of a pop-up. Basically they count any new window opened while someone is surfing with their toolbar installed.

For example, if as a surfer I hold-down the shift key while clicking a link, Alexa will count it as a pop-up.

I'm also pretty sure they'll count scumware that uses something on your site to trigger a new window launch as a popup.

I guess they don't want their popup counter to be any more accurate their lousy website rankings.
