I know that Alexa's stats are not the last word on site importance.
But they can be nevertheless helpful.
Today it seems as if they are broken. The 2 symtoms I observe from here are:

sites ranking lower than approx 5K do not show any traffic details anymore. Kind of sad to see the own page listed as "not in the top 100.000" :-)

sites ranking high (like CNN) have traffic details, but show a decrease in value of a million or so.

anybody else seing this?

If this is the wrong forum, then please excuse the waste of bandwdith!

Yes, I noticed that too. Alexa has been doing funny things over the past week so I think they are having problems.

For example if I tried to look up stats for one of my own sites last week, it forwarded to another site which does not belong to me. eg: a lookup for "bluewidgetsite.co.uk" auto forwarded to "blue-widget-site.co.uk" instead.

The auto forward got fixed on Friday, so my site actually had an entry but stats were still erroneously credited to the other site.

This site is using the syndicated Alexa site comparison graphs - however unfortunately the graphs are showing a completely different URL:

www.gpnotebook.co.uk/compare2.cfm

Very odd...

Yeah, I noticed them down right from yesterday. In some cases, the sites which were in 100000 figure shows 1000 and other top ones are not even in the 100k mark. There is definitely something wrong.
