Hello,

We have a consumer finance site with daily, original fresh content (mortgage info, auto loan info, student loan info, credit card info, and insurance info), with select affiliate offers from the networks in which we belong.

We've done some basic SEO, and buy a modest amount of PPC traffic.

We want to take the best long term strategy to generate affiliate revenues / advertising revenues from the site.

We've been doing some research here, and we would also really appreciate thoughts on best practices to create long term value.

In addition to what we are doing, what else should we consider?

Thanks!

Looks like you are doing all the right things, just need to do more of it.

Also for revenue site you will probably need to step up your PPC. Unfortunately

the competition in your area is too fierce for a organic approach for search.

Thanks for the feedback.

In general, trying to keep PPC's to under $1 each.

Any ballparks / benchmarks in terms of how much daily spend we need to put out there to be competitive?

As mentioned, we are in competitive vertical - what are reasonable success ratios (affiliate sign-ups, etc).

Thanks!
