Does anyone know of any sites/boards out there that help Joe Webmaster attract advertisers to their own in-house advertising programs? Like many millions before me, I've gone the adsense route for the past few years for the majority of my advertising revenues but recently (with dropping adsense revenues) I've decided to set up a very basic in-house system using paypal and a little php/mysql I've thrown together. Instead of relying on traffic to the site (most of which has no interest in advertising) to sell ad space does anyone know of a web resource where you can tell those interested in advertising in your sector/market all about your own little in-house program? I'd love to hear about anyone else's experiences in promoting their own in house advertising programs. Cheers.

look at your portential or actual competitors, see what they do... experiment, and keep tracking what you do

I'm trying to do the same thing myself. I have been using AdSense for the past couple years but I would like to just offer in-house advertising on my website. I have found that every advertiser is different so you should have a few different packages.

I find my problem is attracting advertisers. Like marketlogos said, you need to experiment and learn from what worked and what didn't.

Do you offer fixed priced packages or do you do PPC (Pay per Click)?
