Getting accepted into CJ programs.

I recently got a rejection from one of the programs at comission junction, and I wrote them back asking for the reason. They gave me a vague answer saying that some of my sites have questionable content. I run a couple of sites that feature funny t-shirt designs and some of the slogans found on the shirts can be offensive. Can I just remove the sites from my account? Will the linking codes used on those sites still be intact? Any other tips for getting into good CJ programs? Thanks.

Really only the aff manager of the program in question can tell you whether removing said offending slogans will help or not.

Another way you can get accepted is to list a different site in your profile and use a different email address if contacting the merchant directly doesn't work.

I run a large reputable site and I get rejected "automatically" sometimes since I am not a frequent user of any programs in CJ. It seems some programs require applicants to be of a certain level to apply.

I would take it as a blessing, since CJ is not making too many folks rich... except the owners and the advertisers...

Search around and find some smaller niche affiliate programs not managed through one of these monster networks like CJ and Linkshare. You'll find it is easier to make money with less hands in the pot.

Good luck!
