thoughts on AffiliateAnnouncement?

I am promoting a new florist affiliate program. I listed the program in a site that was a directory of affiliate programs. In my welcome email, I was told about the service by AffiliateAnnouncement that would help me announce the program by having my program listed in other affiliate directories.

The service seems somewhat pricey and I would like to know if anyone has experience (good or bad) with announcing an affiliate program through this service.

Any information on the quality of directories submitted to and the number of new affiliates gained through the announcement would be appreciated.

I rang Affiliate Announcement and they didn't pick up the phone. I left a message. They never returned my call despite me waiting two weeks.

I then emailed them and they didn't email me back for weeks.

Now I've emailed them again with a follow-up question and not had a response to that either.

If a company can't even be bothered to respond to a basic enquiry prompty, I'm not going to use them for a service costing hundreds of dollars.

Thanks 1Lit, that was just the kind of info I was looking for and that pretty much says it all.

I don't use submissions services to directories for SEO and similarly, I don't see why I would use submission services to affilaite directories as well. I will manually review directories and apply to the good ones.
