We have a site will placed for hotels in Italy and we've been approached by a few companies selling hotel accommodation. They'd like us to affiliate with them.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend who is best?
For example I think Hotels Central pay up to 10%, and Venere pay 5%, but who sells more?
Are there other ones woth considering?
On top of that, I am not sure I trust all of these guys. I went to see an accommodation provider the other day. He showed me a login menu for another affiliate and he had a huge number of booking cancellations.
So I was hoping to just get a simple reference here from someone who is happy with their partner.
I kinda fell into selling hotels via aff... and am happy with the first one I tried - sticky me and I'll tell you which one [they are international](I dont think were suposed to talk too much about individual aff progs) -
I now use 3 different 'hotel' affiliates (2 are very small) - and always look how easy they are to use from a buyers point of view - (I should say I use 4 programs, but one don't work in that based on traffic and the other programs results I would expect about 10 times the sales I'm getting!)
From hotels - I've moved on to include flights, car hire, and tours/activities...

There does seem to be a reluctance for 'tarvel affiliates' to talk too much about what works... If you have traffic and affiliate managers are calling, try them - you'll soon see what works.
I would also suggest if aff managers are calling - you've got a great start to building a good relationship with them. I find building a relationship with aff managers is good for business.
Hope this helps
