I was just wondering what resources/sites exist that one can announce a new affiliate program.

Do such announcements generate results?

You may want to start a merchant specific forum in an another affliate board (abest***) . It costs a few grands i beleive ...

Most of the active members there are small time affiliates though - not many super affiliates!

There is a little bit of everything over there. Some just starting out to some making over 1 million a year. There are active "super affiliates" and active people who do this for a living, so it's a great place to learn and very active.

Yep, that would definately be the best.

Another idea, is to contact all those affiliate sites out there. Type "affiliate programs" into google and you'll see what i mean. The first 10 pages are filled with sites that purely index affiliate programs. Find ones that look well traveled and up to date, and use their auto-adding programs to add yourself into their database, or just email the webmaster. Just make sure you stay away from the ugly/banner-spewed ones, yuk.
