Hey,

Long time reader, First time poster! Thank you WebmasterWorld for your great help.

I have couple of questions and will be greatful if you could provide me with a straightforward respond (as you have always done;))

Here is my situation:

1. I am an student in Austria and 25 years old

2. I don't have any office, registered business and VAT #

4. I have a website hosted in the US. and I am earning a bit revenue from adsense covering my hosting costs;)

3. Recently I decided to dive into affiliate marketing and I signed up with CJ to promote the merchants fitting to my website and my visitors.

My Questions:

1. Should I enter anything in TAX ID(SSN/EIN) field or leave it blank?

2. Which option should I choose in Tax Classification? (Non-profit/government-Individual/Sole prorietor ,...)

3.I dont' have VAT. What should I fill in this field. Should I obtain a VAT. If I should have a VAT# how can I obtain and form where?

4.In accordance with CJ documentatios I should fill in an appropriate TAX form. I have downloaded W8BEN form which I think this is the one I should fill. I have some difficulties in filling the form and I don't understand some parts of it. Would you prepare me with a sample of filled form.

Thank you again for your great support.

Hey,
I am a CJ Publisher my self, am also a student from India. No you only have to put Vat# if you have it and i don't and i have been getting checks from them for six months now. However i do pay tax in my country even though i am a student becoz my income goes above the limit specified for tax purposes and i do have a Tax-ID number(specific to my country). And as for the tax classification i remember putting in something like "Individual" or "Sole". Moving on i dont know about the forms to be filled out as i havent done so and i'm getting my money every month now :)
Hope i helped you Orim.

Regards,
