LinkedIn Pulse: Tool for branding

LinkedIn pulse is a blogging platform acquired by LinkedIn.

I have just started using LinkedIn Pulse. I have written two articles recently on the LinkedIn pulse.
Can anyone help me with the question?
Does Linkedin Pulse Links are counted by Google?
And any other suggestions about branding on LinkedIn Pulse.

According to my experience with LinkedIn Pulse, all outbound links get a rel=nofollow by default, so they *may* not count in Google's eyes.

In fact, I tend to use LinkedIn Pulse as a syndication platforms for articles from my blog that I want to get more eyes on, and for branding purposes.

Another way is to study your LinkedIn analytics carefully (works better if you have a Premium subscription) and create posts that act as sales pages (so persuasive copywriting, CTAs and all that nice jazz).

I was looking a little bit into LinkedIn Pulse recently, though I haven't figured out when it is beneficial to start using it, maybe someone could give some examples?
