Tactics for improved traffic in 2012+

I'm working on an established domain (10+ yrs.) and looking to boost its overall performance (traffic and conversions), especially in international markets.

Here are some ideas I have:

•HTML 5 / CSS 3 markup specification
•Responsive design
•LinkedIn
•Facebook
•Google+
•YouTube channel
•Video product walk-thru’s
•Regular press releases
•Regular announcements (international contracts / companies, hires / promotions) via social platforms (LI, FB, G+), press releases, and company news feed (blog)
•Redirect unused domains (unuseddomain.com, etc.) to flagship website OR setup a simple 1-page contact form (preferred)
•Setup international sub-domains (de.domain.com) with translated content for international SEO (specify the language attributes in the document markup)
•Monitor & track KPI’s monthly
•Add top-notch content to areas we are lacking SE positions
•Monitor competitors online marketing efforts
•Make product PDF’s available for download
•Add all websites to GWT (Google Webmaster Tools) and monitor for crawl errors, etc.

That's my initial thoughts. Do these strategies help in 2012 and beyond? What other techniques can I consider?
