Over the last few weeks we've had some really hot threads on some important and interesting topics, including, Google Local algorithm updates, Google starting to use HTTPS as a ranking signal, and many reports of its SERPs swinging around quite a bit. In fact, there's a Google update going on right now, and you can find out more in our August Google update thread. There was also a tongue-in-cheek, yet entertaining and educational look at quitting Google altogether. Bing's not been idle, either, and we've reported on some of the most interesting updates, such as code search, and conversational search.
WebmasterWorld's new home page has been well received, and has recently been updated with more links and more usability. Additionally, don't forget about the WebmasterWorld free tools for webmasters, SEOs, developers, and marketers.
We're Feeling Lucky,
Jim and Neil
