Finally, itís officially rolling out! What, you ask? Itís the Google Mobile First Index, of course. Tests have been run for some time, but now weíll really start to see the impact. Astute observers will be monitoring the performance of their sites and updating us in our monthly update threads.

While on the topic of Google, there have been significant changes in Googleís index in the last few days, with the usual winners and losers. The other major Google topics included the experiment of providing answers with no SERPs. The topic seemed to create a bit of a stir as so many webmasters observe itís another loss of an opportunity for a site listing. Of course, itís been many years since ten blue links were center stage.

One big controversy emerged in March over Facebookís data being shared with external businesses. It seems itís a topic that is not going away quickly, and is a lesson for many businesses, especially those in social media.
