Hi All,

I have one doubt.

Consider one scenario,

There are 2 websites

One website is having backlinks from 20 websites, each website is giving only on backlink and all website are hosted on different Server, IP addresses.

Another website is having backlinks from 20 websites but all websites are hosted on same server, IP address.

All website are good as per DA, PA.

Which website will be more preferred. Is same IP address matters for Google Ranking ?

It depends on the quality of the sites.
Obviously, if all the sites are on the same server and same host address it's not demonstrating quality backlinks. It's an old tactic and google is particularly good at spotting the "quality" of a site and linking. If it's from the WSJ, google would know it's a quality site.

Real question is if YOU value the backlinks to your site. If the 20 from 1 is a bad neighborhood it might be time to use the disavow tool (actually in real life you don't have to do anything, I never have).

Links are what g thinks they mean and there's not a lot any of us can do to change their AI's black-box mind. :)

Doesn't make a bit of difference if all the sites are hosted at the same address. How do you think Hosting Companies do it? They often stick 800 to 2 thousand sites on a server, all with the same IP address... then sell unique IPs as products.

It's the Domain pages that Google ranks, not the IP address.

However, some believe that if another site on the same server & same IP address gets into trouble, that it may affect your ranking. I'm not one who believes that.

Being on the same IP isn't an issue, same with being on the same subnet. Some IPs on GoDaddy have several hundred thousand domains hosted on them. If "same IP" were ever to be an issue, it'd more likely be related to crawl budget of the sites hosted on them.

I think the links IP angle is a misconception borne out of the old days when aggressive spam would all be put on the same IP/subnet/whatever. Anything that can be scaled up cheaply would/will inevitably be tried.

When artificially building links, it just makes more sense to diversify all the footprints, especially when talking about lots of links. Harder to do and more often a hallmark of a 'natural' backlink profile.

most of the backlinks are considered from quality, not quantity .if you same websites having 20 backlinks .google will consider quality and niche of websites you got a backlink to other website

It depends upon quality and relevancy of the sites. If those sites are relevant to your sites then it is good for your site.
