Google announced on G+ a change to the AdWords reporting columns for consistency.

Starting the week of November 10, 2014, three of the Google Analytics reporting columns in AdWords will be re-named to match the corresponding column names in Google Analytics.

Specifically, you’ll notice the following column name changes in AdWords:
+ Pages / visit --> Pages / session
+ Avg. visit duration (seconds) --> Avg. session duration (seconds)
+ % new visits --> % new sessions

If you use macros or scripts to process downloaded reports, please update them to reflect these changes. Google Changes AdWords Reporting Columns to Match Analytics [plus.google.com]
