Froogle Feed Size Limit?

Is there a limit to the number of items contained in a feed to Froogle?

Hello everyone,

I have been working with Froogle feeds for some time now. We have been successful in uploading up to 200,000 items. We have tried to increase it to a full 700,000 but it always seems to stop at 199,998 - 200,000 items.

In email exchanges with Froogle feed support, they indicated that the control panel may not always be accurate. So, we went to the search function and started looking for items after the 200,000 mark. No luck.

We have had several exchanges with support but can't seem to find a solution. Is anyone else having difficulty?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld shovey0!

My undesrstanding is that the current maximum number of products that we allow for single feed files is one million. The number of confirmed results that is displayed on the upper right corner of a Froogle results page is only a very rough estimate of the actual number of products that were processed.

Another member had a similar issue in this thread:

Message # 7 sounds similar to your current problem. You may be experiencing a temporary listings cap if you added more than another 200,000 items at once to the original feed. Froogle will have to manually approve the new, larger feed.

Thank you for the helpful information. The cap was one item dicussed in the email exchange at Froogle. They did indicate that it was lifted from 200k. This was the intial soloution. We still have not been able to locate any items past the 200k mark.

I suppose I can send a second email requesting they check the limit on our feeds again.
