I've been working on this for a couple days and still have no answer for firefox/mozilla. Thought you guys may be able to help.

I've got a Bunch of menu items at the top of my website, with javascript drop downs.

<ul>
<li><a onmouseover="show("menuid1")>text1</a></li>
<li><a onmouseover="show("menuid1")>text1</a></li>
<li><a onmouseover="show("menuid1")>text1</a></li>
<li><a onmouseover="show("menuid1")>text1</a></li>
<li><a onmouseover="show("menuid1")>text1</a></li>
</ul>

and a bunch of menus below

<div id="menuid1">
<ul class="scrolling">
<li>Category name
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.somewhere.com">Link Text</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.somewhere.com">Link Text</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.somewhere.com">Link Text</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.somewhere.com">Link Text</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>

and a stylesheet for the popups similar to

div#menuid1{
position: absolute;
left: Xpx;
top: Ypx;
visibility: hidden;
hieght: XXXpx;
}
ul.scrolling{
height: XXXpx;
overflow: scroll;
}

I've got the popups working and if the ul is not height restricted and not set to scroll any overflowing content, it works fine. As soon as it it set to scroll funny stuff happens and the wierdness begins.

The div box does wrap around the scrolling list, so the object should be still contained within the div box.
If other links are in the menu before the list, they can be hovered over.
IE works when you hover over the list
Firefox allows you to hover over the scroll bars, but if you try to hover over the list the menu disapears. I've tried putting the show JS function on the links, but that does not work. I've tried putting the show JS function on the UL but that does not work. HELP ME
