Yahoo is now replacing the Google title and description with the title and description from Yahoo's directory (for sites currently listed in the Yahoo directory).

Previously Yahoo's presentation of Google results (Yahoo Web Page Matches) looked identical to the same search run on Google. This new listing format includes a link to the Yahoo category that the site is listed in as well. Yahoo is trying to differentiate their results from Google, and drive people back into the Yahoo directory keeping them on the Yahoo site.

I wonder what (if anything) this signifies (good or bad) about the future of Yahoo and Google?

Dunno how long this has been going on, but it looks like YAHOO! is also tracking every click in the YAHOOGLE section. Its been done for a long time in the directory but is this something new for the web pages section?
