Where do Japanese webmasters meet?

Hi,

of course I enjoy the ease of communication in English (my Japanese would be much better if I were not so to talk English so much), but nonetheless, I want to get in on the inside scoop.

Where are popular places for Japanese webmasters to meet and discuss things, i.e. the Japanese equivalents of webmasterworld.com and searchenginewatch.com?

Regards

As in the English world there are a myriad of opinions on where the best places are for Japanese SEO information. Just check out the bulletin board systems and forums attached to some of the Japanese SEO sites. They're pretty easy to find, but you'll want to make up your own mind about which ones contain the caliber of information and community that you're looking for.

Hi bill,

thank you for the reply. I am not primarily interested in the information itself. So my concern about "this site is better than this one" is minimal. I am more interested in getting connected to the community associated with Japanese online marketing, SEO, etc.

You may find it hard to believe but I did not find it so easy to find these communities, so I'd certainly appreciate a couple of links (and maybe your comments on them, if you feel like it)

I guess you're not using the right keywords then. ;) If you're looking for forums in Japanese then you need to know that they don't use the word 'forum' all that much. All of the old Japanese geeks still use the word BBS which stands for Bulletin Board System...just like we used to use before the Internet was here. The terminology has stuck in Japanese.
