I'm seeing PR changes on old sites and new green bars on newer sites.

Thanks for the green Google!

Huh? Where?! Nslookup toolbarqueries.google.com please. Let me know what IP is serving your PR requests.

No signs here either.

Actually I'm mystified why one of our PR6 site's internal pages no longer have any PR showing for the last few months , and why other sites we have with similar structures and PR are fine [but not indexing or appearing in the SERPS!]

Unless we did something wrong, I'll be watching closely to see if it updates, since it has good links into it.

Some of the sites that regained PR at the March Big Daddy PR update have lost it again....

On a side note...Now that PR is updating...Are you all ready AGAIN for wild SERP's?! :> My hair won't even be gray soon, it will be albino white!

In fact - Yes, there are some pages which have updated PR - but I am wondering if this is a roll back for some pages at the same time.

Google is so confusing and in such a mess at the moment it is hard to tell

Yeah some weirdness in this PR. Some pages that first got PR last time in that semi-update clearly not updated this time, while newer pages seem to have gotten PR normally.

Yay it is a strange one - and may explain the mess in the serps at the moment.

Tedster mentioned a conv. he had with Matt Cutts whereby MC said that there was a different way of calculating PR with Big Daddy but Tedsters understanding was that this may be temporary and be reverted back to the old calculation.

Not sure if there is a rollback going on at the same time.

Looking at MC blog you can see his recent vacating post now has a PR6 (fair enough linked from his homepage) - so that proves a update is in process and PR is being allocated to new pages.

www.mattcutts.com/blog/great-colleagues/ - was a PR0 before the dodgy March/April update when it became a 5 and has now gone down to a PR3 (So an update seems to be happening for some existing pages)

However, some sites pages seem to be showing the February toolbar figure and some pages which got PR in the March/April update seem to show the figure of the February update again - so is this a correction of PR for these sites (ie the old calculation MC/Tedster talked about) or a rollback.

Just to note, the sitemaps tool is now reporting something along the lines of "no data available at this time, check back later".

I rarely spend time discerning between individual datacenters. I leave that to all the Google scientists we have here on WW.
