Hi,
I've been a lurker here a while and have learned allot from you all. I haven't seen much talk about it here and was hoping someone had some information.

Expired PR's with existing backlinks which should be 4's - 5's are showing up zeros in the google toolbar.
Is this the end of expired PR's? Is it a Temp problem with the toolbar?

If anyone can shed some light I thank you in advance!

To be honest I haven't checked it out yet...but I hope this is the end of them. I have been fighting these recently expired domains that still have directory backlinks cloaking my site content for months now. Yesterday I found 28 unique url's most still with Y and or dmoz backlinks showing cloaking content of a "brick and mortar" company and forwarding to a single competitor website. Of course it had been cut and pasted and pieced together... but, it's easy for me to see it due to the unique "contrived word" registered name of the "brick and mortar". So, yes that would be great news to me. I had posted something about this and it got trash-canned earlier.

Yes. The benefit of expired domains steadily continues to go away.

would be nice if there would be a possibility if a site is in the "expired domain" filter. Have a site where I'm not really sure what's wrong ...
