Hi

I have a problem with quite a few sites. Google visits but I can only find my sites under site: searches or by typing the full domain into Google. I launched three sites at the same time one has been fully indexed and the other two are nowhere to be seen and it has been 3 months. They all have titles, keywords and meta-tags.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sticky me with your web addresses and I'll take a look at them if you like?

shaggy32, I checked the first site you mentioned (I suspect the mods will clip the specifics of your site, because the TOS for WebmasterWorld don't allow specifics). It looks like the site was registered only a couple months ago. I checked out the backlinks for the first site in the list, and only saw two sites linking to it--and both of them are sites that you also mentioned.

That's not a bad thing; it just means that your sites are newer and don't have many backlinks yet. So I'd counsel patience and just developing the site and links to it.

hope that helps,
GoogleGuy

I have to agree with Googleguy on this one, your pages haven't even received PageRank yet. Google's crawling, indexing and ranking times for new sites has been increasing lately. New pages of already indexed sites seem to get in quickly enough but Googlebot seems wary of new things, I think the world scares him a little now after all that he's seen ....

Anyway, Googleguy, if you're still here, one question about the coding of links as shown on shaggy32's sites. I realise that Googlebot doesn't retrieve the css coding file but it can tell that there is specific coding placed into things like links:

e.g. <a class="header" herf="http://www.widg...>

Does Googlebot ingore, give less weight to links with 'class' in them due to the spam possibilities? Essentially, 'class' counts as something being 'hidden' from Googlebot even though it mostly has valuable use to the webmaster.
