There was a change to the ranking algorithm. See all the other threads on this.

Same here... all my sites are missing... i also wonder why? Google is killing our sites! and all our business! then a question... how to survive? Who's sites are on the top now? And dont say that the sites that are now on the top are there by chance... I will not believe it..

It just happens. Top 10 site of mine out of 6 million results is gone from this morning. Perhaps it will return - perhaps it won't. With the new Google it's very hard to tell. Build more sites is the only advice I can give.....

Has anyone heard of diversifying?

Don't rely on google to send you all your traffic, and then you won't be hit so hard if your rankings drop. There are 100's of ways to get quality free traffic, search engines are not the only option :-)

Anyone with a buiness model that is dependent on free traffic from Google (or any other SE) should change their business model.

Don't rely on google to send you all your traffic, and then you won't be hit so hard if your rankings drop.

Diversity of content (and therefore of keywords) within your site can help, too.
