Hi guys can anyone help us... we have tried several paid campaigns on advertwizard and are looking for a banner provider who can deliver more click throughs. Advertwizard seems good value for money based on the number of impressions given however the click through yield is very low.

Anyone got any suggestions on where to do better?

Cheers

Leon:

You may get better results from a text ad [overture.com] on PPC. It would be worth a test.

Thanks for the advice. We are already running campaigns on overture, espotting and bidsmart. ppc engines is a god ROI but we are looking for another way to increase traffic. Banners seems like a good option.

I am still using advert wizard for our banner campaigns. However, we are not sure they have the real estate for the size of campaigns we want to run.

Any one got any ideas where I can buy page impression from UK web sites

There are number of reputable companies in the UK, who handle a large amout of inventory.

they will do CPM or CPC deals, however the real way to get a higher click through rate is by targeting websites which you feel share similar visitor profile , but this usually results in higher CPM or CPC rates.

Run of network ads can be had at anything from 1 CPM, compared to targeted at 3+ CPM.

I have ads on a couple of sites which bring quality traffic, and the cost works out at around 0.10 CPM :)

keep looking, and you shall find, most publishers/webmasters will take whatever you offer within reason.

Just to let you know we have done a test campaign on ukbanners and they seem to be bringing home the bacon. We have seen a CTR of 0.69% with 2 million imps so far.

Leon,

By my calculations you are in fact paying just over 0.07pence Per Click.

Not bad considering a lot of the pay per click "Banner companies" are looking at rates around 30p > 50p.

However the crucial thing is are you getting Conversions/Sales and is the traffic relevant to your product/service, or are they just clicking because the banner is good and catches the eye.

anychance of sharing rough conversion levels if possible, at least that way we can define the ultimate CPA (cost per acquisition).

What about fastclick? You can target by country.
