I am an internet newbie and I have a question about affiliates.I have an ecommerce site and my goal is to get as many affiliate websites up as possible.I want to buy domains with a similar feel to mine and link those domians to my one main website. My first question would be is this a good idea to get more traffic if the domains are marketed properly or is it not? Will google eventually delist the sites since each of the domains has the same content? I will have over 1,000 of these domains.
If it is not a good idea to do that then what can I do besides for an affiliate program like cj to give people a certain domain to advertise for me so my site can get more sales.
Any help would be appreciated.

Certainly you would be likely to trip a duplicate content filter. Usually when companies set up affiliate programmes, they invite other web publishers to become their affiliates, rather than attempting to be their own affiliate community.
That is, unless I misunderstood your question.
Im not sure what you mean. What I will be doing is just giving someone there own domain but with my conent.Eevery order btought to my site from there domain I will send them a comission for.Would something like that have me delisted from Google because many domains will have the same content.Basically I need to know if this is a good idea to do or not.

You're going to give copies of your website to a thousand people, each one hosted on its own domain?
So what do your affiliates do? Will they be allowed to distinguish the sites that you've given them from each other?
As I say, it's almost certain that unless the sites are substantially different, Google will see them as duplicated content.
Well, alright, not substantially different, but at least not identical.
