Just wondering if there was a lot of good knowledge on SEO issues in the supporter forum compared to here.

IE secrets, tips, tricks not found in the main forums.

Thanks!

Sorry to rain on your parade Brett but I think its dumbed down over the last 12 months. The cutting edge for me now seems to be in the Google News forum.

The supporters forum to me is just like another Google News forum, a bit slower. I don't find it to be anything to write home about, but then I didn't expect it to be. It's quite adequate and serves its purpose.

It maybe also depends on what business you're in (there are some nice SEO topics) and whether you're into the pubcons etc., a lot of the threads don't apply to me although I read what I can just in case it might one day. You also might get a *tiny* bit of advance notice on things like updates and news.

But it's a nice bonus for paying the subscription fee. Subscriptions help keep the site maintained and ad-free, and I'm grateful for that. I don't think you should see the Supporters Forum as *the* reason to subscribe, you might be disappointed.

I agree that it's more about supporting the whole forum than any special information. The membership has grown and there are more posts to skip so it's not quite as useful as it was in the very beginning. I once read every post in there and now it's just a fraction of that. It's still the first forum I always check however. And it's worth it to support the site and keep it ad-free.
