I have been running a small topical forum community, shared by several webmasters' websites. By pooling our resources we avoid each having a totally dead forum.
The site "A" I am currently hosting the forum script on has very limited disk space. I have another account, Site "B" same topic, on a different host, that has huge disk capacity.
I would like to move the forums to the other host (and domain) and link to them from the original site. In addition, all these other sites would be linking into the forums too.
None of this is for Google PageRank, it's very much about sharing of labor and saving some money on hosting. Money is tight.
But I am afraid that linking between the two sites will earn me a PR0, because a robot can't distinguish intent or motive.
Am I right to be worried? Is there some correct way to go about linking the sites together? Any advice would be appreciated.
