Anybody else experience this?

>there were no ads to click.

That's the point.

What point?

That you falsely stated that the system had been down for 24 hours? And that you wanted compensation for this? Your contractual agreement is based on visitor clicks. If YPN is down, we all lose - advertiser, publisher, and provider.

There is no reason to complain on this matter. If you were prepared, you would have switched over to Adsense as a backup.

Well who sat there and waited on Yahoo to get their act together anyway? I mean come on. If you were on the ball at all you got those ads out during the down time and replaced them with something else.

Anyone who doesn't have a contingency plan set up for a worst case scenario (or even 2 or 3) might need to think about getting one. I mean if you're in this thing for real. If you're not then I guess it doesn't matter.

We shouldn't expect anything, like I said.

Maybe this will convince Y! to setup an alternate ad code :)

I doubt it. They'd rather serve RON ads which make them money, than serve ads from other companies.
