Have started seeing new Google results come through this morning.

Usual topsy-turvy (sp.?) update, i.e. sometimes new results sometimes old ones, so try a couple of times for different servers.

I finnaly got few hits from Yahoo.google today after several months(banned from december - got in in february). When i clicked on the logs i went to yahoo but there was still the old listing and no pages in my results.

Does this mean that google is "flashing with new index from time to time" and when my new pages were in i got hits and now when i try to check my old pages are in(no title,no description) so i dont see my page?

i noticed the same problem on a new domain, i have clicks from yahoo.google but when i go to the page results i am nowhere to be found, in my opinion it takes few days to stabilize and then you eventualy find yourself, and then in google afterward, because for some reason the yahoo.google updates first then google its self.

How long did it take the last time? It was pretty quick last month, but January was like a week and a half of the flucuations wasn't it?

I've noticed that my google traffic jumped this week. Weird thing is I'm getting hits on a sub-domain that neither google or google.yahoo show as listed. Is this another "One day you're there, the next day you're not" kinda thing again?

Well - the new pages we saw on Yahoo sunday and monday, are not there now. So, something is still updating or it is the old db.

Strangely enough my initial post (monday GMT) referred to results seen on Google. Yet the consensus this month and in previous months is that yahoogle is first with the updates.

Must have been a rogue server.

So far even Yahoogle doesn't seem to have settled.

Can anyone identify when the spidering occured for the newly added pages? I had some pages spidered in mid/late February and am wondering when I might see them in the db.

I've been waiting for the update and haven't seen any change until two days ago. Yahoogle changed first. That's been the norm for the last few updates. Today Google shows the changes on my sites also. I figure it'll smooth out in a few days. Hopefully.

Whew, finally got rid of those old cached pages from december. I though they were going to live forever:webmaster world [google.com] (feb 28).

Another waffle......

I saw a major update at Google last night. Checking again this morning, we are back to the old search results.

Everything is once as it ever was. Exact link popularity count, rankings, etc.......

I haven't had a thorough crawl from Google since the end of February. Multiple visits between Feb 24 and Mar 1. Seems like it's about time for them to be stopping by again...

mivox or anyone else that was spidered in late feb., are those pages in the db yet? this is my first time being spidered by google and I'm not sure how much patience to have. I'm figuring those should be in a month from now, but I just wanted to check.

I'm finding that google.com is still showing all of my old pages, but google/yahoo has all of my new pages from it's crawl in late Feb. I've never known google to be so slow updating their own portal. I wonder why?
And yes, google is crawling, hit my site this morning. The beast awakens.
