looking good for me as well, brothers.

from #5 to #4 and one of our competitors has vanished into thin air.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

+20 penalty lifted and the efforts taken to further optimize because of it have lifted us even higher than before.

Oh, happy day...

Not much movement for us. Question: I was under the impression that we should not actually submit new domains to Google but to add links to sites already in the index and let them crawl to the new site. Am I mistaken? We have several domains that are still waiting to be crawled after several months of using this technique. Should I just submit them and hope for the best?

Anyone else get a lot of pages dropped? One site that has each page linked to from every page of the site had more than half of it's pages dropped. Almost like Google just stopped crawling half way through for no reason.

>lot of pages dropped?

I did notice that the size of the database on my SERP decreased by approximately 10%.

I think itīs too early to tell - number of results on searches differed before in the early stages of udates

Yeah! The weird "no backward links" and "near-zero" page rank phenomena that some of my sites had on the last update has gone away.... We can only speculate now...

It's looking like a focused optimized page is really important. One site sits at the top spot and Google shows 5 incoming liks. Sites below have anywhere from 17 to 400, some of which have a higher page rank by 1 or 2 notches.

After trying out a few changes on my site last month and being dropped to the depths of darkness, I'm back in at no.4 ......It's going to be a great month :)

Does look like the +20 and the resultant funnies have gone... AT THE MOMENT. I also strongly suspect though that we are not there yet.... often there are changes just before WWW2 becomes WWW.

Remember that the original penalty scheme was also simply 'turned on' (July 7 I think) rather than being linked to a re-index. So it may well be a little early to be counting chickens! Lots of finger crossing going on I suspect.

I took a PR hit to some of my pages and have lost some rankings too.

On the plus side - my adult sites seem to be rising.

Hopefully things will be better next time...

our site looks great too. all droped content is in db now and ranking some as before others better than they did before. PR is increased as well.

Though, the update is not final it already increased the traffic and for today 48.57% of the traffic is from google alone.

Should we take GoogleGuy out for lunch?!

While I still can't see it in www, some (and probably many) people can, because I have noticed a notable google traffic increase starting yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

Looks GREAT!

My +20 (or +12) penalty is gone.

The SafeSearch [webmasterworld.com] problem is gone.

PR, originally at 6, dropped to 5 recently, back at 6 now.
