Since it is not some common scripting I post this weird thing here.

I am currently working on some FileMaker file to share infos and do buiseness with my clients. I have a developper licence so I can legally distribute all runtime copies I want.

I need to grab some currency conversion out of the HTML code of some dynamic pages. I need a script to tell the browser to view the source code of some URL (/http://finance.yahoo.com/m5?a=1&s=USD&t=CAD), tell WordPad to select all, copy and close without saving or bugging me about it. Once the HTML code copied the FileMaker file will do the rest.

It already works for the Mac version, but I am not familiar enough with scripting for Win PC. For now, the only thing I can do is for FileMaker to launch the default browser and get the page. I am stuck there. :(

FileMaker can run any text scripting. Can anyone point me to some good tool or tutorial (or a simpler way) to do this?
