eMarketer's latest forecast for U.S. advertising spend indicates a growth of 16% this year to $63 billion, with Google and Facebook dominating.

According to the report, google will grow ad revenue by around 15%, while Facebook will leap 32%, with Facebook stealing market share pushing it to 19.7%, with Google at 40.7% market share. eMarketer suggests twitter's market share is likely to decline 4.7%, with Snapchat up 158% to $770 million, and reaching $2.2 billion in 2019.

When it comes to search, Google still reigns supreme. The company’s U.S. search ad revenue in 2017 will grow 16% to $28.55 billion, commanding 78% of the market, as Google continues to steal share from Yahoo and Bing. Report: U.S. Ad Spend Up 16pct to $83 billion this Year [wsj.com]
